This warm embrace has been going on day after day for more than 23 years around the world...wiping their tears, and offering solace to all who come to her. Amma recommends the path of selfless-service through the example of her own life.

Amma, will be at Singapore Suntec City Convention Centre Hall 601
From 24th to 26th March 2010 at 10 am & 7pm.

Phone: 63417701
There is no admission fee or any payment to meet her and receive her hug.

Amma's Message:

Everyone in the world should be able to sleep without fear, at least for one night. Everyone should be able to eat to his fill, at least for one day. There should be at least one day when hospitals see no one admitted due to violence.

By doing self-less service for at least one day, everyone should help the poor and needy. It is Amma's prayer that at least this small dream be realised.

Onemilliontee update II -Design Preview

Y.A.Y ~ this is the design made by Edwin for onemilliontee!

To review back what we've been doing,,

We're in the mid of “onemilliontee” spirit and everybody here will be given a chance to take part in helping African to live a good life through job opportunities we all provide. Our message is simple, enough donation, we help africans to provide for themselves by creating job opportunities for them.

Once there was a saying "to build a nation you need to build jobs and people need to see that a job gives our friends in Africa what they really need--a sustainable income so that they can stand on their own two feet" – Oliberte

This is our opportunities where together we can deliver this message and help others, especially for Africans to have better lives.

So, our idea here is to sell 1,000,000 t-shirts with number on each of the tees. Each tee will have different numbers. For example, once you have number 5, nobody will have the same number as you have and that will be your one and the only t-shirt to promote global cause for Africa. As simple as that.

All our t-shirts will use 100% organic cotton produced in Africa factory by Africans, and will be printed with specially formulated water-based inks.

We’ll start selling our t-shirts this year thus make sure you do subscribe our newsletter for any updates as we'll start updating you next week ~make sure on the launching date you have your one-and the only numbers from 1,000,000 t-shirts :)

The design for the numbers (yup, not t-shirt) are up for preview in our blog

*leave us some comments for any feedback – we welcome any feedback to create better design for you.

Hope you guys love it, and let’s promote the cause and help us spread this message to others~ Have your families, friends, relatives, or even strangers on the street get the message so they can have a chance to do good things for others and have their unique numbers for themselves !

100 Friends

Philosophy and Action

The 100 Friends Project is based on the principle that one person can make a difference.

It can take very little money, knowledge or other resources to accomplish miracles.

When I speak in front of young people and plant the seeds of philanthropic travel in their minds, I try to impress upon them these principles to inspire them to make a difference in people’s lives. I also help others who are planning to set up similar initiatives. Even the impoverished are encouraged and empowered to continue the cycle of giving by ‘paying it forward’ – performing their own altruistic acts within their own communities. I aim to deliver what I call ‘the magic moment’ – the look on someone’s face when you tell them they will receive a lifesaving operation for their child or an educational opportunity that they could never afford themselves.
