Diesel - Be Stupid

Interesting thoughts of be stupid by Diesel. :)

Like balloons, we are filled with hopes and dreams
But over time a single sentence creeps into our lives
Don't be stupid, it's the crusher of possibility
It's the world's greatest deflator
The world is full of smart people
Doing all kinds of smart things
That's smart, well, we're with stupid
Stupid is the relentless pursuit
of a regret free life
Smart may have the brains
But stupid has all the balls
Smart recognizes things for how they are
Stupid sees things for how they could be
Smart critiques
Stupid creates
The fact is if we didn't have stupid thoughts
We'd have no interesting thoughts at all
Smart may have the plans
But stupid has the stories
Smart may have the authority
But stupid has one hell of a hangover
It's not smart to take risks
It's stupid
To be studid is to be brave
Stupid isn't afraid to fail
Stupid knows there are worse things than failure
Like not even trying
Smart has one good idea and that idea was stupid
You can't outsmart stupid
So don't even try remember
Only stupid can be truly brilliant
So, be stupid

Everything is OK-JCC

Eveything is Ok.

Today i check JCC site and found an interesting article about PMA. As he mentioned, it's always believed that one miniature phrase, piece of advice, or even a smile could alter a humans mood + thought process for the rest of their day and/or life.

For more info: Johnny Cupcakes-everything is OK

Or saying 'hello', thanking someone, smiling at strangers-these are just some of the many acts of kindness we can show. And because no act of kindness is too small, we can all do our part in making the world a better place by letting kindness lead the way.

I took me a second, reminding me of someone I met at Tanjong Pagar MRT when i tried to find Tras Street on the mrt map, someone approached me and said, 'Hi, are you lost?' haha. I said ,'yea, I'm looking for this Tras St' and she smile, pointed me the way out to get there. This simple act can really change the way we see and treat others. And that's the way we should do each other.

PMA _Positive Mental Attitude_

Positive mental attitude, is a psychological term which describes a mental phenomenon in which the central idea is that one can increase achievement through optimistic thought processes.

PMA implies that one has a vision of good natured change in one's mind; it employs a state of mind that continues to seek, find and execute ways to win, or find a desirable outcome, regardless of the circumstances. It rejects negativity, defeatism and hopelessness. Part of the process of achieving PMA employs motivating "self talk" and deliberate goal-directed thinking.

Positive Mental Attitude is also a movement within the larger DIY Culture (arguably popularised by the Bad Brains song "I Luv I Jah" and "Attitude"). This includes bands and songs touting the importance of a Positive Mental Attitude (PMA).
Positive Mental Attitude, or PMA, is largely referred to by The Combined Insurance Company of America, as being a creation of W.

Clement Stone, despite the fact that similar ideas have been in existence far before Stone claimed it as his own.[1] Positive Mental attitude has been known to help people through certain difficult times in their lives or even help them overcome illnesses.[citation needed] Many people[who?] believe it can help you not only mentally but physically, hence "laughter is the best medicine"

Contribution Through Action

As we've seen some videos from my previous posts, it's so amazing how people come together from around the world, sharing ideas, working together, and create something wonderful to contribute to society and especially for those who need them the most.

For past few days i read some design magazines, and found one article from computer arts magazine where the world's most talented and celebrated designers and illustratots share their essential tips on building and maintaining a knock-out creative career.

An advice from Neville Brody, whom i really admire:
Good design is not about doing something that's going to bring in money, it's about doing something that's going to re-engage people, re-engage culture and society, re-engage possibility

It really comes to mind that so many people have their own perception on how to re-engage others and it's really great to be able to work with one of them.

Cradle to Cradle

Cradle to Cradle Design takes its inspiration from nature, in which there is no place for the concept of waste, but in which waste = food.

'Cradle to Cradle' is the antidote to the 'Cradle to Grave' paradigm, where product cycles are not really cycles but mostly half cycles in which products, after their useful life, are put out of sight in landfills.

The purpose of the Cradle to Cradle Design is to restore continuous cycles of biological as well as technical nutrients with long terms positive effects on profitability, the environment and human health.

Cradle to Cradle Design is highly operational: It aims for perfection, it can prove when it has achieved it or how far it has succeeded in its task.

Cradle to Cradle Design is free of "political risk". New environmental requirements cannot constitute a financial threat to the company which has already moved out of the realm of environmental legislation by doing away with the concept of waste.
